Mt. Iimori is one of symbolic mountains in Okuwa village. Iimori in Japanese means a heap of steamed rice on a rice bowl. Since the shape of the mountains looks like it, the mountain was named Mt. Iimori. The trail to top of the mountain has a special atomsphare of village-vicinity mountain in Kiso district. The trail begins at the Koiji-pass and goes along the edge of the mountain. It takes about one and half hours walk from the pass to top depending on your pace.

At the foot of Mt. Iimori, Forespa Kiso Atera is there. The root to the top of Mt. Iimori runs along the edge from left side on the photo.

The start of trail is at the left side of a observation deck on the Koiji pass.

The trail runs along the edge of the mountain. So, you can enjoy a walk on the edge. Some part of the trail are vague. Follow pink ribbons, which are the markers of the trail.

There is a stone gate just before the top of the mountain.

On the top, there is a monument of the buddhism. I heard people prayed here for rain once upon a time.
