Inagawa 2 Hydraulic Power Plant is located at approx. 1km upstream of the Inagawa Dam. It is an underground power plant and only the gate and power line can be seen. A special mention about the plant is the method of the water suppy to the plant. Water are drawn from a few rivers that come from the Central Alps then the water are gathered and provided to the plant through water tunnels in the mountains, which are like blood vessels.
The whole power station facility is behind the gate and only an authorized person can enter it. The following five intake weirs are gathering water from the rivers to the power plant.

The Inagawa River Intake Weir is the farthest weir from the Inagawa 2 Power Plant, from which is apporx. 9km walking the Inagawa Foresty Road.

Kanazawa River Intake Weir（伊奈川第2発電所カナ沢取水堰）
Kanazawa River Intake Weir is the next weir from the Inagawa River Intake Weir on the water tunnel to the power plant. It is about 7.5km from the plant walking the Inagawa Foresty Road and Inagawa Foresty Branch Road.
Higashigawa River and Hontanigawa River Intake Weir（伊奈川第2発電所東川本谷川取水堰）
The Higashigawa River and Hontanigawa River Intake Weir is the third weir from the Inagawa River Intake Weir on the water tunnel. It is located at approx. 9km from the power plant walking the Inagawa Forestry Road then Inagawa Forestry Branch Road.
Inagawa 2 Hydraulic Power Plant Water Drain and Power Line
Water from the intake weir comes to the power plant and the water is drained from the Inagawa Power Plant Water Drain to the Inagawa River. The transformer facility is supposed to be underground and only the power line comes from the ground at the Inagawa Power Plant Tower.
Almost all facilities are underground but the scale is quite large. It is one of the most interesting hydraulic power plant for me.
