The Inagawa Dam is located in Inagawa Gorge about 10km ride from Suhara JR station. There is no public transportation to the dam. A taxi or on foot is the way to get there. The dam stores water from the Inagawa River and the Kosumo River and provides water to the Inagawa Hydraulic Power Plant.
The access road to the dam has a gate and only the person who has a key can open it. Any other person goes through the gate on foot or a bicycle.
Water from the Kosumo River comes from the Ainosawa Hydraulic Power Plant through a water tunnel. At the front bottom, the dam has a headrace to provide water to the Inagawa Hydraulic Power Plant.
From the dam, Mt. Itose is well seen. From Mt. Itose the is well seen, too.
