On October 14th, 2023, the village festival known as the “Forest Village Fall Festival” or “Mori no Sato no Aki Matsuri” will return at Okuwa Village Sports Park. The festival had been on hold for four years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but this year it will finally resume!
The event will feature food trucks, local vendors, and stage performances by local students, clubs, and others. A grand finale with a fireworks will be displayed at closing the festival.
Okuwa Village Sports Park
The Okuwa Village Sports Park has a wide range of amenities, including a gymnasium, a water fountain pond, a museum, baseball and athletic fields, play equipment, a library room, and a large parking lot.
A large parking and a clean restroom is available.
The well-maintained lawns and trees provide a relaxing atmosphere. I enjoy riding my bike there on sunny days, often bringing lunch (rice balls) along.
