There are a few shopping spots in Okuwa village. You can get basic things needed in daily life there except cloths and shoes there.
The biggest shopping spot in the village is in the Suhara area, where Marutoshi and American Drug are side by side. Marutoshi is a super market, where foods such as meats and fishes, drinks such as soft drinks and alcohol, seasoning and other materials needed in cooking are available. It opens 9:00 to 19:30 and its regular holiday is Wednesday. American Drug is a drug store, where medicines, cosmetics, cleaning tools/materials and foods such as cup noodles, pouch-packed curry, breads, snacks and drinks with/without alcohol are available. It opens 9:00 to 22:00 without a holiday.
Komeri, a home depot, is opposite side of the Route 19 highway in the Suhara area, where working tools, agriculture tools, craft materials including craft shoes and clothe, stationaries, kitchenware and miscellaneous things are available. It opens 9:00 to 19:30 without holiday.
There are two convenience stores in the village; Seven-Eleven and Daily Yamazaki. Seven Eleven is in the Suhara area beside the route 19 highway and opens 24 hours without holiday. Daily Yamazaki is in the Nojiri area beside the route 19 highway and opens 6:00 to 21:00 without holiday.
