Yomikaki Dam blocks the Kiso River and is located downstream of the Atera Bridge. It supplies water to the Yomikaki Hydraulic Power Plant in Nagiso town. The dam was completed in 1960. The gate can be see at the point on Google Map.
This place may have been a training ground for power line engineers, as some structures that look like training facilities are still present.
If you are lucky enough, you may see the dam discharge at the point on the Google Map, which is accessible through a path from the place of the training facilities.
The dam creates the reservoir to which the water of the Atera River flows.
No recreation facility such as boating or fishing is available at the reservoir.
